Weekly Programs
RESTORATIVE YOGA - Mondays in Rancho Bernardo
Join us on Mondays at 10am for Restorative Yoga with Jecenia Schaper. "With nearly 20 years of training and practice in Yoga, I feel that yoga fosters connection - to oneself, to others – and this is where the magic truly happens. I enjoy creating programs that are suited to individual needs. Like a beautiful puzzle, we build and create a healthier, stronger, and more abundant self one breath and posture at a time. Yoga means union, and so we are fostering that connection every time we are on, and even off, our mats. My greatest hope and passion is to help others discover their own resilience, vitality, wisdom and a healing path through yoga!" Note: you must show proof of COVID-19 Vaccination to attend this class.

Grace teaches class with a controlled elegance of movement and focus. She challenges each person to improve mind, body, health, and fitness. TEAM PADDLING also known as Dragon Boat paddling!

Almost every Sunday our "Sea Dragon" team paddles canoes called "dragon boats." These boats have 10 or 20 paddlers and we have a fabulous coach who teaches us the sport and gives us a great workout.
Paddling is often helpful for breast cancer survivors for the condition of lymphedema. You must be fully healed from treatments and surgeries but if you love a good workout, enjoy being on the water, and the camaraderie of an awesome team sport, check it out.
Want to try it? Click on GET WET for the paddling schedule. Learn more about the dragon boat sport on the DRAGON BOAT! menu above.
Meets most Sunday mornings at the Youth Aquatic Center on Fiesta Island in Mission Bay. You must email teamsurvivorsd@gmail.com to schedule your first practice date. Your 3 membership forms must be received prior to first practice:
